About us
Makaila
I grew up in the country surrounded by forest, animals, and other magical beings. I always had a great imagination, and was always keen to create with my hands.
I started travelling around the world in 2016 after leaving my soccer career behind. I was in search to find my deeper purpose in the world. Throughout my journey I started to see my gifts as my spirited guided me along the way.
I am a conscious creator of food, herbalism, natural medicine and art. I am passionate about holistic health, nutrition and mental health.
I stand really strongly about the importance of organic food, as it is not only for our health, but also for the health of the earth. I love supporting local farmers, and voting with my dollar for the hands whom feed us. Along side supporting ethical business.

Born in Los Angeles, California, I spent my upbringing across the United States. My father, being a pilot, exposed me to many environments from a young age. At the age of six, I undertook heart surgery for an anomalous left coronary artery. ALCA occurs when the left coronary artery, which carries blood to the heart, is connected to the pulmonary artery instead of the aorta. It is a rare problem, comprising less than 1% of all congenital heart defects in children. During surgery, I had my first out of body experience. This shaped layers of intuitive guidance throughout my life. As I grew and developed, my love for athletics brought me towards basketball, distance running, biking, cliff jumping, and eventually freestyle skiing, in which I developed quite rapidly.
At 18 years old I was sponsored and competitive, yet as I developed without a foundation, I was burdened by many injuries. A broken arm and three clavicle breaks later, I decided to study Integrative Physiology at the University of Colorado at Boulder. As I studied anatomy and nutrition, I applied my knowledge on myself towards rehabilitating these injuries. Throughout the process, I was supplementing my university education with the latest podcasts on health and nutrition. I also worked with a variety of healers from chiropractors, physical therapists, and body workers of many shades.

The more I deepened my bodily knowledge, the more I excelled effortlessly in my skiing. At the age of 23, I had a large fall, blowing my right knee. This sent me to Hawaii, on a deeper spiritual journey to heal my body. With a focus for health, I gravitated towards yoga, swimming, farming and holistic nutrition. I was on a mission to discover how to heal my body, and I found out so much more.

Fast forward, my last four years have been immersed in the healing arts, refining practices of yoga, body movement, structural rehabilitation, holistic nutrition, cleansing, and much more. My passion is to continue honing my mind, body, spirit connection, re-patterning old tissue patterns and embracing a renewed sense of self.

My purpose is to share the knowledge, tools and inspiration that has guided my own health journey, in belief that you discover protocols and practices that make you Think, Feel, Move and LIVE LIFE to the FULLEST.
